the bard

I went to see a production of Love’s Labour’s Lost last night, just a few blocks from my flat. Bard on the Bandstand. Oh, did I mention it had a Steampunk theme?

It’s not everyday you get to see costumes and sets like that while listening to Shakespeare. I didn’t even mind the mosquito bites (well, a little).

In other news, are you planning to watch the Olympics?

I enjoy the swimming and cycling, so my television is on for the first time in months.

  1. bloody awful poetry

A steampunk Shakespeare adaptation is way too cool for words! That’s definitely something I would watch.

I might catch the Olympic track events, and the diving competitions. The opening ceremony was delightfully geeky, too. 50 Mary Poppinses defeating a forty-foot tall Voldemort, and a TARDIS? Wish I’d been there :)

  2. It was a lot of fun!

I missed that. I’ll have to check it out. I enjoy the diving, too.
