commenting

I’ve received some e-mails from people saying they can’t comment.

I have everything unclicked in my settings, so you don’t have to have a WordPress account to comment, however, WordPress changed their comment policy and isn’t letting anyone comment without logging in first. I know a few of you are using fake emails to comment and it seems to be working, but not all the time. Update: I tried that out a few times and it seems to work. See comment section.

So, what to do? There is no way I’m moving back to Blogger.

Anyone know of any other web hosting sites?

coming up with fake e-mails is a fun venture, but still annoying.

okay that seemed to work. so if it tells you need to be logged in, try a fake e-mail (try not to post an @gmail.com account when you do)

Watson… Are you there? Come quickly.

  4. Yay! Glad it’s working now. :)

  5. If you don’t use a gmail or hotmail, any others seem to work (real or fake). Maybe you said before and I missed the post, but what’s your beef with Blogger?

  6. Good to know, thanks.

Find you can do a bit more with WordPress, and it’s a bit “cleaner” on the dashboard.
