and if they try to slow you down, tell ’em all to go hell

Spotted the first cherry blossom of the season.

They’ve been coming into bloom for the past week, but it was the first time I’d seen any.

It’s a glorious sight – springtime in Vancouver.

Shattered showers with the sun.

Music turned up, the cool crisp breeze, mountains in clear view…

Near death by overly enthusiastic cyclists.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.

  1. What a lovely sight! I did manage to spot cherry blossoms last week, but they were only just opening. More of a hint of blossoms.

I hope you are able to get out to absorb the spring.

  2. Everything opened up this week – so lovely to see all the flowers in bloom.

Hoping to get out for another walk this weekend – fingers crossed!

it seems late for Vancouver, or maybe it’s Victoria that is somewhat earlier. I know we usually follow by a couple weeks

  4. Yes, we’ve had a late spring. It’s just been in the last week that things are starting to bloom.
