this is not a podcast

well…technically it is, but i like that title.

i know i promised a video blog, but i woke up this morning with the urge to test of the waters of podcasting again. forgive the glitches, i know it’s a bit echoey, but i’ll have that fixed for next time around.

you can stream it over here (when podomatic plays nice)

or if you want i uploaded it to mediafire, so you can listen at your leisure.

let me know if you have problems with the link. happy weekend!

  1. Nice job Allison! I’m three songs in and all good choices. I love hearing what other people listen to and like (I haven’t heard any of them previously). Great hearing you talk about them and your poor Mac – hope you have an extinguisher handy!

  2. The leisure is over now and I completely enjoyed it but I’m with you on the ‘hmmm’ factor for Here We Go Magic – I’m just not sure. Again – great job!

  3. I’m with Dale on the Here We Go Magic ambiguity. On the one hand, it is rather hypnotic, on the other, it’s a little blah.

But I loved King of the World! I am definitely going to have to search out First Aid Kit’s new album.

A great podcast (or non-podcast). Having a good listen with the newspapers and a coffee was a lovely start to my Saturday morning. Take a bow.

    Speedy recovery to your laptop.

  4. Thanks for listening guys! I’m glad you liked the songs – some great music out this year already.

I started listing songs for the next one this morning – hopefully my computer is easily fixable so it won’t be too long before I can record again. :)

p.s. Glad you both agree on Here We Go Magic – not sure why they are getting so much buzz…
