with sour keys

In the middle of a stressful day I am thankful for slurpees.

Something you’re thankful for this week?

  1. I keep thinking that I have to celebrate having the RO with us for another month, rather than lamenting the fact that she leaves in a month. So I am thankful for that.

I haven’t had a slurpee in probably 25 plus years, I should try one. This week I am thankful for Strongbow ciders.

  3. Barb: Definitely better to celebrate the time together. I know what that’s like. Accents help. ;)

Kelly: In my opinion, Strongbow is the worst of the ciders. You should try Bulmers. I don’t know beer, but I do know cider. :)

    I can’t find Bulmers, I looked yesterday after work…arrggghh

  5. Hmmm…it should be at the liquor store. Maybe BC doesn’t carry it…I’ll have a look. I know Ontario has it. I just find it more refreshing than Strongbow. I’m not a beer drinking though, so perhaps beer drinkers like the taste of that cider.

AHA!….I found it, sort of. Apparently Bulmers also makes Magners and it is the same thing but a different label. BC liquor store carries that and I found that. I also bought Sir Perr’s pear cider, another one from the U.K. Have you tried that?

Glad you found it! You’ll have to let me know if you like it or not. I can’t recall if I’ve tried that brand, but I’ve enjoyed some pear cider before. Make sure it’s nice and cold!
