Well uh-uh baby I ain’t got no plan. We’ll float on maybe would you understand?

I love driving late at night, when its raining, and good songs come on the radio.

Even if they make you cry.

Last song you heard that made you cry for no real reason?

I haven’t cried over a song on the radio in years, but the last one would be “Black” by Pearl Jam around 1997. A song on my iPod is a different story, Jet Plane made my cry a couple weeks ago, but I know why.

  2. Great Lake Swimmers’ Concrete Heart made me cry recently, but I am pretty sure I know why. That voice will often bring me to tears.

Fearless: We just got a very good radio station here that plays like my ipod. Ah, Jet Plane…la la la la….

I actually know why this song made me cry, guess I felt the reason wasn’t founded.

Barb: It is a good voice. I’d really like to see them live. I’ve been listening to their latest a lot lately. Shall make my top 25 of the year.

  4. There really is something sublime about listening to the radio late at night whilst driving. It really is the perfect combination of solitude, randomness and environment. Always conducive to thought it is a most welcome companion particularly for long dark drives.

It was Joe Strummer’s version of Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’ that left me more than a little verklempt on a long drive home from a northern jaunt for work last summer.

    … I blamed the allergies. ;)

And it’s always a little scary when you realize you got to where you were going without really noticing because you were caught up in the moment.

Driving along the 401? That’ll do it. Oh, those pesky allergies! ;)

  6. Great Lake Swimmers’ “Stealing Tomorrow” made me choke up massively a few days ago. It’s that voice, isn’t it? Far too pretty to exist. And it’s a terrific album as well =)
