did The Jetsons always have a laugh track?
caught an episode yesterday and was puzzled over the laughter. i don’t recall hearing it when i was younger.
what was your favourite cartoon growing up? and today?

Recently my boss presented me with the British mini series Spaced on DVD.
I had heard rumblings of the show, but it’s one of those that I never actively searched out. Kept getting added to the list, but you know how it goes. It’s the same masterminds behind Shaun of the Dead and I gotta say, it’s hilarious. The Brits do television right.
I recall reading that it might be remade in the US. Anyone know if that actually happened? Hoping not.
Song of the Minute: Dreaming – Seapony
I saw on the music blogs that Vampire Weekend covered Rancid, raised an eyebrow, said ‘Really?’ and clicked past. Now I can’t seem to click anywhere without seeing it, so I gave and listened to the track, and didn’t find it anything special, so I’m slightly confused to what all the fuss it about. You can listen to it here, and decide for yourself.
I’d like them to cover The Clash, or something with a little more kick.
Is there a song you’d like to hear one of your favourite artists cover?
And in unrelated news, one of my favourite shows, The Big Bang Theory has an episode tonight about the Large Hadron Collider; remember the article I posted a few weeks back? Ever since I read it, I was wondering when the show would visit it as a plot topic. Wonder no longer. If you haven’t been watching the show, you really should. It’s one of the three things on television that keep me entertained every time I tune in.
That is all.
I’ve just started to watch True Blood.
I know, I’m behind with the rest of the world.
Do you watch the show?
I’ve always had a penchant for the subject matter in literature, and so far so good, the show is living up to its hype.
I find the credit sequence here interesting, this clip includes a clip from the pilot too.
