My brother just wrote on my facebook wall (while we are in the same house mind you) and ends the message with – PACE.
Me = flummoxed.
Me: Dude, you spelled peace wrong.
Him: Um, get with the lingo. Man you’re old.
Apparently pace is the new peace?
Either way we’re headed out for Chinese and in more exciting news spending xmas in California with the relatives this year! Huzzah. Oh, and I’ve decided to stay in Britain, or at least until they kick me out.
What’s everyone else up to this weekend?

… all the others did drugs, they’re taking it out on us.
That’s such a great picture – looks like some real camaraderie happening there.
California for Christmas? LUCKY! And if they don’t kick you out of Britain before August next summer, can we meet up? I’m pretty sure we are going over then.

What? Pace? Really? *head cock* Maybe he was telling you to pace yourself while eating Chinese food? To pace yourself in life – stop and smell the roses and whatnot?
Seriously though, it’s not ‘lingo’ it’s lazy people who can’t be bothered to learn how to spell correctly. I estimate that it’s takes ten random idiots who don’t know how to spell, and each of them needs at least 1 – 2 friends who think their typo is cool, and suddenly PACE is replacing PEACE and people think they’re all hip.
I am also envious of this Christmas in California plan. And I’m glad that you’re planning on staying in the UK as long as you can. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it over there before they kick you out.

Barb: Been listening to B&S off the Juno soundtrack this week. Always fine listening!
Yeah, its been a good week actually. Dinner tonight was quite grand as well.
I’m going to try my very best to stay for the long haul! :)
Maggie: Haha, yeah he was just joking to get a reaction from me. ;)
Hopefully that would be much fun! My visa expires at the start of 2009, so fingers crossed!!
