the sounds don’t stop
upstairs, downstairs and next door
all the things talked about
the echoes provide another way to miss
shoving cotton in my ears may ease the loudness on the surface
but it’ll ring inside for much longer i am certain
naive and too emotional are boxes i’ll always have to tick
on the invisible form inside the mind
an individual scorecard of errors and improvements
one that always seems full

Want to borrow my glow in the dark pink flurescent pens? I also have sparkly pens, gel pens, ink that puffs up when dry and…blue pens now they are hard to come by around here.
I sure wish the noises would diminish so you can some much needed rest. Is it worse on the weekends?

this is why you need bio-sci pens – 4 colours, no waiting ;)
And odd that you are now talking about the sounds not stopping, right after I posted about the sudden calm and quiet over here.

Toccata,
The girl I share a wall with has her boyfriend up for the weekend… I’ll have to take a sleeping sedative tonight for sure.
Todd,
Hahaha! Really, you should be a sales rep for them. ;)
That is odd, I am glad someone is getting quiet though.

I have the right ink, but I can never colour inside the lines…
Yeah, nothing more irritating than listening to the neighbours having sex while you’re alone. Happens to me all the time in hotels.

Keeping inside the lines is overrated.
I actually don’t think there is any worse. I will be putting myself into a coma tonight with drugs and headphones.

At least you know the sex will eventually stop (damn kids who can go for hours), having a rookie drummer live beneath you is hell, as I recall from my uni days.
But never have I heard pain expressed so eloquently, well except maybe Joy Division, but I hope you don’t go to those extremes.

I can’t even find a pen.

Maggie,
Thanks dude. :)
Barb,
Ach, that doesn’t sound nice either. I used to live with a horribly bad bass player who always practiced at night. I think the BF has left because its been silent this evening. I am still taking a gravol though, not gonna chance it.
Deb,
I’ll send ya one of mine. :)

I hate noisy neighbours and even more when it implies them having sex, loudly. And even more when I know who they are. I also mostly have blue pens, I wonder why?

I can handle most noise, but it was incredibly, incredibly loud this weekend.
Blue is a superior colour, at least I am in good company. :)
